Benjamin Schnieder

benjamin.jpgBenjamin studied philosophy in Hamburg, Oxford, and Geneva. From 2003 to 2007 he was employed as an assistant professor at the Department of Philosophy at the University of Hamburg. Since 2008, he has been the director of Phlox. Recently he was appointed Professor of Philosophy at the university of Hamburg.

Benjamin works primarily on metaphysics and the philosophy of language and logic. His research interests also include the history of analytic philosophy, as well as the philosophy of action and free will.
