Moritz Schulz, born 1979, finished his first degree (Diploma) in mathematics at the University of Hamburg in 2005. He then moved to Oxford and obtained his BPhil in philosophy in 2007. After being a member of phlox for three years, he recently completed his PhD with a thesis on counterfactuals and probability. He then moved to Barcelona where he enjoys the climate.
Moritz works primarily in the philosophy of language and logic (in particular on conditionals, epistemic modality, and subjective probability).
He does not play golf.
But tennis; sometimes.
